1. About Grezi
Grezi is an app that helps cross-border workers who live in France, Germany, Italy or Austria and work in Switzerland keep track of where they work and how that relates to the telework, commuting and social security rules that apply to them. By using the app you agree to these terms.
2. Not tax or legal advice
Grezi is a tracking aid. The limits and rules shown in the app are a simplified summary of public sources and may be incomplete, out of date or not apply to your individual situation (for example special contracts, part-time work, several employers or changes in the law). Grezi does not provide tax, legal or social security advice. Check your situation with a qualified cross-border tax specialist before making decisions. Exports from the app are your own records, not official declarations.
3. Your data and backups
Your records are stored only on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for their accuracy and for keeping backups. We cannot restore data that is lost, for example when a device is lost or the app is deleted without a backup.
4. Grezi Plus subscriptions
- Grezi Plus is an optional subscription sold through the App Store (iPhone) and Google Play (Android), with monthly and yearly plans. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings or in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- A free trial, if offered, converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends. Each Apple ID or Google account can use the trial once.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
- The features included in Grezi Plus may evolve. If we remove a substantial feature you paid for, you can cancel your subscription.
5. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app. Your use is also subject to the terms of the store you downloaded it from: Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement or the Google Play Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify or redistribute the app or its data except where the law allows.
6. Third-party data
Swiss border data © swisstopo. Public holiday data from the OpenHolidays API, licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL 1.0); the extract used by the app is available here.
7. Liability
We build Grezi carefully, but we cannot guarantee that it is error-free, always available or that its information is complete and current. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for tax assessments, social security contributions, penalties or other consequences of decisions you make based on the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for Grezi Plus in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change significantly affects you, we will inform you in the app.
9. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is St. Gallen, Switzerland, unless mandatory law gives you the right to sue in your country of residence (for example as a consumer in the EU).
